IKEA doesn’t do registries, so we made our own.
We’ll be doing this the old-fashioned way, before all these new-fangled Internets. You all have it easy now. When I was your age, I used to walk through six-foot snow drifts just to register at the local general store. Uphill, both ways. But I digress.
Here’s how it works. Below, you’ll find a list of items that make up this set, as well as other miscellaneous items for our new home.
- Print out this page and take it with you to your local IKEA. Don’t worry—this page automagically switches to a printer-friendly format, so you won’t use too much ink.
- Check the name and colors of an item with what’s at the store before you buy it. All those Swedish names are tricky, so double-check.
- Sure you have the right item(s)? Make a purchase. Thank you! Gift receipts are appreciated.
- When you get home, send an email to aliotsyandhanan@gmail.com to let us know which items we can remove. We’ll take it off the first chance we get.
Since we can’t be at our computers all the time (even Aliotsy needs a break from time to time) there’s a chance that some items might be duplicated. That’s OK. That’s also why we appreciate gift receipts.
